    What happened? Description:
    I met this guy on csgolounge.com, and he said he wanted to buy my knife. We had a conversation and he seemed legit, so I added him to trade. He showed me screenshots of fake payments, and told me he was legit. He had 11 years of service on Steam, was level 41, so i believed him. He showed me screenshots of fake paypal transactions, and had fake comments of +rep on his profile. I traded him my items expecting he would pay me, but instead blocked me. I tried adding him again, but it said he blocked me. He took over 230$ worth of items from me, and I am not happy about it. I spent my hard earned money on the game, just to have it stolen by a scammer. Immediately after he took my items, he went ingame and posted screenshots of the items he took from me. Unfortunately, I closed the chat box after it said he went "offline," and it would be great if you could open up recent chat histories on Steam. Thanks!​

    Provide Evidence:
    Unfortunately, I closed the chat when it said he went "offline," so if there was any way to recover chat history, I can provide that part of evidence, otherwise, I am not able to recover our chat.​

    @Voodoo_ thank you soooo much!! I was able to get him a trade ban for scamming, however is there any way I could get my items back? Thanks! :)

    Congrats! It's always good to see scammers get marked. Unfortunately, Steam only returns items back to first-time victims of hijacking and phishing. Not scamming.
