What happened? Description:

One day they sent me a friend request a few days after i bought a few more expensive items on backpack.tf. i was a little bit skeptical about accepting it because it might be a scam, and i finally decided to accept it a few months later (like a few days before their attempt). i quickly checked their steam profile and when i saw their inventory was private, i immediately knew what was going on.

today i finally received their first message asking to trade my painted bruisers bandanna and strange specialized killstreak grenade launcher, my 2 most expensive items in my backpack (both over 40 ref). they provided a link in "their" backpack, asking me to choose an item for them. knowing that their inventory was private, i immediately knew it was a scam because their provided link has many unusual items. i recognized the scam and they removed me from the friend list.​
