What happened? Description:

The User contacted me about being a Valve employee who was sent to check my items because I have a "fraudulent track" in my inventory.
I didn't go trough with the scam but I will report it non-the-less.​

Steam support sent me to notify you that there is a fraudulent track in your backpack. You are highly encourage to follow steps to remove the fraud track in your inventory. Failure to follow the rules and guidelines regarding the Item Checking Processes will then be subjected to the accusation that the trader who is avoiding the Item Checking Database will be given of proper penalty regarding the issue.

10:16 - ✪Sapphire✪: Those website are not fully connected with steam. for example backpack.tf, scrap.tf or stn.tf
10:17 - The_Sergiu: I dont think there is a rule against using other websites to trade other than steam market.

10:19 - ✪Sapphire✪: In this process the our database system will send you an offer and select the most traded and suspicious items in your inventory to process and check the result of each of your items.
10:20 - ✪Sapphire✪: The database is systematically locked from trading functions it cannot accept nor decline offers.
You have full assurance that your items will stay at your inventories at all times.
10:20 - ✪Sapphire✪: Database only need to obtain your items' full transcript to process the result and to determine which items are fraudulent.
