What happened? Description:

I was approached by another user, Eufloria (ID 436689752), who I believe to be working in tandem with the accused. As you can see in the chatlogs, this account offered to trade for my item, and immediately offered cash. They then suggested using a middleman, and steered me towards a subreddit, ostensibly for trade middlemen for Dota, TF2, and CS:GO. However, the subreddit, r/Dota2TFCSGO, is a fake. At the time of writing, the subreddit is only a week old, and has just enough posts to fill its front page. The subscriber and online counts are also fakes, and are simply hard-coded text meant to display next to the actual counts. Finally, though the sub lists 3 middlemen, one of them has "quit" and only one of the other two is ever online. This middleman is the reported profile, who I suspect works alongside scam partners such as Eufloria. After adding the middleman from the subreddit, he explained that I was to give him the unusual to be held until the payment from Eufloria cleared. Upon receiving the Unusual, both his account and Eufloria then blocked me.​

Scam1-3.png are the chatlogs of Eufloria, the user who approaches marks for the scam. The final image is the chatlog of the fake middleman, and in both chatlogs you can see they went offline at the same time as soon as I traded over the item.
