What happened? Description:

So, I made a trade advert on /r/GlobalOffensiveTrade saying I was selling an AWP | Redline Minimal Wear. About 3 Hours after the listing, the scammer, Spinner CS.money, added me. I accepted him and said hi. Then he said he wanted to buy my whole inventory. Then he said he was gonna trade for a knife that was worth $104 more than my inventory. I said ok, then the scam attempt began.

He then asked if my skins were marketable on opskins. I then played dumb(Because I was already aware of the opskins scam method)and asked how do I do that? He then explained how to make an account on opskins and put an item up on the market. He told me to put most of my expensive items on the opskins market for $2000. He then said to deposit my items. After that, I got tired(Becasue it was 2 AM) and disclosed to him I knew he was a scammer.

I said,"Quick question" to him. He said,"yes?", then I basically told him to say hi to the mods on steamrep and told him he was getting reported. From that point on, he didnt say a word and then blocked me. Luckily, I had his steamid64 on my clipboard, and had his vault accounts steam profile link in the screenshots.

Part 1 of 9: The initial chat starting/greeting.

Part 2 of 9: Him offering a knife from his vault account. Screenshot also has the link to his vault/alt account.

Part 3 of 9: Me being suspicious of him having a different account for his items, then in the end just shrugging it off.

Part 4 of 9: Us just discussing max payment and what he wants.

Part 5 of 9: He starts trying to do the opskins scam method.

Part 6 of 9: He instructs me on how to make an account on opskins.

Part 7 of 9: He then starts telling me do deposit my skins.

Part 8 of 9: He then tells me to list my Redline for $2000 and to do the same for several more skins.

Part 9 of 9: I break the ice and tell him I know hes trying to scam and hes going to get reported.​
