What happened? Description:

User added me out of the blue and started asking me what I wanted in keys for my unusuals. He started at 40 keys for all four of my unusuals then came up to 200 after I argued his first offer was a little low.

They asked for my trade link then asked me to "verify my items" using a bot (https://steamcommunity.com/id/76561198382131256787) from a community claiming to be the OPSkins official bot group (https://steamcommunity.com/groups/opskins--bots). I knew something was up when I saw a lot of scam reports in discussions, noticed half the "bots" were actual users, and realized that anybody could join the group.

He's also impersonating several users including this Turkish user: http://steamcommunity.com/id/expertanced. The reported user cribbed the first part of the impersonated user's bio straight from his profile, even taking some of the original Turkish.

He asked again and again for "item verification" even once mentioning asking a SteamRep admin to verify my items. I pushed him to confirm his identity and give me more information about the "item verification" process and he unfriended me.

Apologies if this isn't the correct format, but there needs to be more information on his steamrep page than the one "impersonation" entry.​
