What happened? Description:

I met this person on Carousell Singapore, an online selling platform. He was using a rather new account to ask me questions. He then told me that he does steam item resale and offered 410 SGD for my entire CSGO inventory. Seeing that he had a level 75 steam account without any trade bans, I did not suspect that he would be a scammer. Then, he asked me to set up trade offer while he'll send me the money via bank transfer (PayNow Singapore). After Accepting the trade offer, he blocked my account without sending any money and changed his custom URL from https://steamcommunity.com/id/SuperResellerLegit2020 to https://steamcommunity.com/id/ResellerLegit2020

PayNow is a feature in Singapore where the bank account is linked to a handphone number, in which case my bank account 647529445001 is linked to my phone number +65 97730734, as shown in the screenshot named PayNow account.jpg. Thus any funds transferred using PayNow to my phone number would be equals to transferring to my bank account (with a remark showing that it's a PayNow transfer).

I've already shown in the original report in the screenshot named PayNow account.jpg that my bank account 647529445001 is linked to my mobile number 97730734.
