    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Steam Wallet fraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561197964493134

    Victim profile: 76561197962552726

    What happened? Description:
"Caprice" contacted me on steam and explained he was a trader looking to aquire my Stattrak Factory New Talon Fade that I had unboxed some time ago. Through steam chat we agreed on payment method and price, which was Steam wallet codes amounting to $1700. I hesitated at first because this item had (and still has) huge amounts of sentimental value to me, so I told "Caprice" that I'd sleep on it. The next day I contact him and ask if I can explain why the item has such significant sentimental value, and he seemed truthfully unsettled, which only strenghtened my belief that this wasn't a scammer, which he turned out to be.

So we proceed with the trade. Because I'm not very well versed in the ins-and-outs of trading, i confirmed the trade the moment he said he had sent the steam gift cards to my email.

He accepted the trade, and I never recieved the email that should have contained the gift cards.

As you'll see in my attachments, there are some shareX screen region captures. I understand that this should be full screen captures, but its what I got. He blocked me before i had knowledge of the rules when reporting. However, hopefully the other attachments will suffice.

Attachment "One": This is where we initiate the chat to figure out how the trade takes place.
Attachment "Onepointfive": We decide a price. (I don't spesifically say yes, but its the price i asked, he agrees.)
Attachment "Two": We start the trade process.
Attachment "Three": This is his reciept from G2A, that is supposed to show me that he actually bought the giftcard. Note the order number in the header. (92000053174330). Also note it shows the currency of the gift cards in NOK (Norwegian Kroner)
Attachment "Four": Shows the trade screen on my phone prior to sending the trade.
Attachment "Five": Shows the confirmation section on my phone, where I confirm the trade.
Attachment "Six": I contacted G2A to verify whether or not he actually bought the gift cards. They respond with saying that the spesific order number Caprice provided me, hadn't at all any connection to this incident. The order number was related to a purchase was a "Steam Gift Card 5USD - STeam Key - For USD Currency Only".
Attachment "JCDyiNO" : Shows the trade history
Attachment "aCxLzn5" : Shows his profile. You can see the top of 2 Talon Fades at the bottom.

I hope this report is sufficient evidence. To my knowledge I don't have access to chat logs anymore as Caprice blocked me before i had knowledge of the rules when reporting.
