    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [DOTA2] Dota2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561197968697870

    Victim profile: 76561198071288768

    What happened? Description:
First of all, it was an attempt "only".
The scammer added me, I accepted. He wanted to "buy" one of my items (~30 USD) for 65 USD if its "index" is above 0,5. The obvious item-verification scam, but it was something else. He didn't propose a trader to verify, but a scam site called "infoskins.net". It steals the login credentials by a fake Steam API (can be verified with any alt account). I told him that I "logged in" and everything was fine and somehow he knew I didn't. When I said I know he wants to scam me, he unfriended and blocked me. Proof in the chat screenshot.

    Provide Evidence:
I have uploaded the screenshots below and described everything in the "Description" section.

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!

You can report the user to Valve instead
