    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Other cash fraud (webmoney, bitcoin, etc)
Virtual item type involved: [DOTA2] Dota2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561197972192739

    Victim profile: 76561197996972789

    What happened? Description:
Added on steam looking to trade Dota2 items, agreed upon a bank transfer trade, after I sent the items he changed the deal saying there was a minimum transfer limit higher than the agreed upon amount, started asking for more items before he would trade me, refused to return my items talking in circles wasting an hour before agreeing to pay me on Paypal then after not receiving payment for awhile after being told it was sent he linked me a screenshot of him sending money to himself then deleted me from friends list.

My own fault for not using a middleman fooled by not seeing him flagged on Steamrep and 4 months of +rep posts on profile.

    Provide Evidence:
I think screenshots show enough proof, can always provide more.

Need more of the formal agreement here - I see an amount but I don't see what the items were to be traded nor do I see the payment method mentioned/how to receive payment.

I can't accept any of that. You said paypal I see no paypal address given.
Now you are discussing bank transfers on those getmessage logs and we can't review that alone. Your chat message box screenshot didn't specify either of those and we clearly do not review getmessage logs alone without something to go with it from the raw chat boxs.
It states all this right here

Twice I've stated I tried Paypal after he dodged on the bank transfer saying there was a min limit above the 750 the trade was over, that's why there's various mentions of 1k because he was asking for more items, I made mention of this in the initial post and again after you asked for more information. Pic 5 clearly shows proof of agreement. In 6 ive linked him my paypal.me and 7 is my paypal acitivty.

You didn't read anything of what I wrote.. did you read the link either?
Please go back and read what I posted before that.

I'm afraid unless you can come up with more of a formal agreement thru steam chat screenshots not getmessage logs I'm not able to do much here.

Different or not that isn't what is the issue - this is our policy on evidence.

I was ok with the first chat box and what getmessage logs you provided up to the point that you never specified the formal agreement anywhere. Items to be traded, amount to be sent and by what method which includes address, location etc.. none of that aside from an amount was in there.
Add the user back and see if they accept..if they do you may be able to get the messages back.

I need to see the formal agreement some where in steam chat screenshots - I suggest you attempt to add the user back, if you can't get that I can't review this.
I've already said this 3 times and the submission fundamentals link above clearly states that.
Also do not crop screenshots - must always be FULL screen.
I'll give you 24hours to see if you can get them to add you back and acquire that.
