What happened? Description:

Attempted third-party trade scam for a knife. Attempted to justify the need to friend a third party as a way to 'validate' our items.​

Provide Evidence:

This person attempted to trade-scam me by persuade me to add a third-party middleman to 'validate' my items before a desirable trade. He initially offered me a very advantageous trade before asking me to add someone else via a URL. I did not click the URL incase it was a trap, but I have been subjected to this type of scam before. The person in question had an extremely valuable inventory and had a strange justification for wanting to complete the trade (to "complete his collection" despite already owning a copy of my item). I ended the chat without continuing any further.​
