    Scam Report

Report Type: [Gambling] Fake gambling website
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561197973530601

    Victim profile: 76561198044471470

    What happened? Description:
This guy tried to steal TF2 items and/or my account details. He added me a while ago right after i finished a round of TF2. I thought he was just someone from that previous round an accepted without giving it much thought. A few days ago he than presented me this "awesome opportunity" to earn "coins" by getting items back from a gambling site because he was "banned". (The link he provided me with is "https://steam-bets.com" - He told me to use my real steam ID and passwort to login.)
And this person does not even own TF2, its just his "second account". I than tried to bait him into telling me more about that site and what he had planned. The rest is in the screenshot.

I think its pretty damn obvious what he tried to pull there. This is my first report to this site and i hope i have done it right.

If not then im sorry for wasting your time. ^^ Have a nice day!

Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy
    http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/investigative-policy.140101/

This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!

You can report the user to Valve instead
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.
