What happened? Description:

This person added me, to buy CS:GO items for real money. We talked a bit and then decided to use Skrill as payment method, but he wanted to use a steamrep admin as middleman. After we talked about the price, he said he added the steamrep admin and he will add him to the chat. Thats what he did. Since i heard about wrong middleman scams before, i checked the account on steamrep and saw, that he has no special reputation. That doesnt mean anything normally, but if it had been a steamrep admin/middleman, you can see it directly on the profile page. (Big green shield!) I looked in the list of middleman and saw the profile of PenguinThe Fluffy (the impersonated), and i could directly identify the original profile from the fake. To sum it up: This person tried to scam me, with the help of a wrong middleman.​
