You are clearly not checking out users well. You also did not communicate with this user first - you should always report the user you were first in contact with THEN reference any others involved.. not the other way around.
But had you taken the time to check out the user or both prior to dealing with them you wouldn't be here now - best to report them to Valve, delete and move on.
