What happened? Description:

The accused person added me on steam asking me to get his "valuable" dota 2 items back from "a scammer"

This mentioned scammer apparently scammed him by taking the dota 2 items and trading him a m9 bayonet marble fade.

According to him these dota 2 items were the "Autographed Armor of the Purist Champion" and the "Corrupted Belt of the Coastal Kingdom"

Both of these items have no market place sell history and are "valued" at either around 100$ or 300$.

This person wanted me to friend the scammer and ask to trade my knife for the "stolen" dota 2 items and then trade the dota 2 items for a m9 bayonet marble fade.

This was very fishy especially considering my knife is only worth around the 140$ range and he wanted me to get according to him "400$+" worth of items using my knife.

Even fishier the scammer who apparently stole the dota 2 items agreed to trading my knife for the 2 dota 2 items.

Then, the guy I'm accusing tried to show me that he was going to send me a trade offer right after I get the dota 2 items. This seemed very sketchy seeing as he could cancel the trade offer right as I trade my knife away. All in all this seemed definitely like a too good to be true scam playing on a person's pathos and guilt to try and help out a person who just got scammed.

I believe that these 2 people were working together to get me to trade my knife for the worthless dota 2 items and the guy I am accusing would bait people into the deal.​

Here is the first interaction: Here he is giving me his sob story about he got scammed and that he wants me to add the scammer to get his dota items back

Then I call him out on how it isn't logical for him to ask me to help him. Basically, I'm calling him out on the big red flags that he is setting up

Then after I call him out and ask for collateral. He continues to play on pathos to try and make me feel bad for what I'm doing and to help him out
