    What happened? Description:
    Promised to trade a knife of mine and some other items for his StatTrak M4A1-S Hyperbeast Factory New. Seen in his inventory as Factory New. Once traded to me it became Well Worn.​

    See images.

    Met on CSGO Lounge with him promising to trade for my knife with his M4 Factory New. Chat and then trade happened. Well Worn M4 appeared in my inventory.​

    All I see is the user saying they were offering you a M4 - where does it specify condition?

    On the screen shot of the trade you can see that his m4 was factory new. On the screen shot of the m4 he gave me the wear was well worn. Also on the csgo lounge he is promising an m4 factory new.

    What was the trade offer URL the user gave you? I'd like to check that out but still may not be able to do much here since you didn't specify exactly the item to be traded.

    I could try and get him to own up to it if I make another account. But he might be a bit suspicious if someone adds him randomly. I'd need something to fake him with though.

    Ok without that I can't check anything else. I'm afraid you just don't have the proper evidence.
    Remember Valve gives you multiple chances to confirm the trade - you should pay closer attention next time.
