    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
Virtual item type involved: [Steam] Steam Games

    Accused profile: 76561197993112757

    Victim profile: 76561198061925915

    What happened? Description:
I had a CS:GO gift and I wanted to trade it for $10 via PayPal. I finally found a user who added me and he had around 48 rep's on his profile so I decided to go for it and I also figured that I would gain some rep too from the trade. So we had a long discussion about it (which you'll see in the evidence I'll supply) and near the end, he didn't want to go first. I understood why because I only had 1 rep and he had like 48 so I was like "why not?" and went ahead and sent him the CS:GO gift. He then told me where he should send the $10 and I said PayPal. Therefore I sent him my PayPal email address for the payment to go to and waited for him. After he said that he sent it, we both said thanks to each other and went our separate ways. After this, I decided to go into my PayPal account just to check everything was okay and I kept refreshing the page to which I found that I haven't got a payment from this so-called trusted trader. I went on my phone (because the new PayPal layout was confusing me) and checked my mail. Then I saw it. I had received an email by PayPal regarding an INVOICE of $10 that was sent to me and that's when I realised I got scammed. I didn't even know what an invoice was until I fully read what was on that email. One of the things that caught my eye was the "View and Pay Invoice". A few minutes passed and the scammer sent me a friend request (he deleted & blocked me from Steam before this) and I quickly accepted. I said to him that he scammed me and that he sent me an invoice instead of the actual $10. When he realised that I found out that he scammed me, he went offline straight away and blocked me again. I'm actually quite happy that he re-added me because I now have access to our chat which I didn't have after he deleted me. So in the end, I wasn't actually sent the $10 which he promised in trade for my CS:GO gift. What's worst is that I paid like $8 for the gift (before the whole thing) which means that I lost the $8 AND the CS:GO. Is there anything I can do other than report this piece of f*cking sh*t? Excuse me for my harsh language, I'm just bummed out that my second trade on Steam turned out to be a scam. Sorry for the long read, I tried to be detailed as possible. Thanks for your help in advance.

    Provide Evidence:
    Initial trade agreement:
some of our chat got deleted so I couldn't get the full chat but I really hope this is enough: http://prntscr.com/4j0daj
    Broken agreement or scam attempt:
    >
Him re-adding me and me telling him that he scammed me. Also shows him going offline right after I told him that he sent me an invoice and not the actual money: http://prntscr.com/4j0e4t
    > PayPal screenshots: http://prntscr.com/4j0fox
Verification of identity of the person:
    >
This should definitely prove that it is him: http://prntscr.com/4j0gin
    > Notice how his Steam Profile says he's from Romania? Well, now I can prove that the person who sent me the invoice is infact the scammer since his PayPal details states that he is from Romania. Check here: http://prntscr.com/4j0ixv
    My Inventory History:
This screenshot will show you my 2 trades on Steam. The first shows that I successfully traded with a nice guy named erick (seen on pic). The second shows that I traded the CS:GO with the scammer: http://prntscr.com/4j0jpd

I have also attached the screenshots.

I really hope this is enough evidence to point out that this guy is a low-life scammer.

^^ Disregard that post, my bad. Don't I have a picture of my trade history that hasn't been edited? It's the picture labelled as "Evidence 6".

I see. I'll fix it when I get access to my PC again, thanks for telling me. Sorry about the coloured blocks in some of the pictures, I was just trying to make them be clearer to read & understand.

I cannot bring up the chat box again because he blocked me from all Steam communication. I don't have a normal picture of the chat box without the red box, sorry for that. All I did was add a red outline to make it more clearer to read.
