What happened? Description:

Impersonated someone with a large inventory, put his trade offer on private so I would not know that that is not his trade link in the bio. Wanted me to trade my items to my friend to make sure they weren't "duped". His steam name was: youtube.com/luginbr (not sure if that guy is a big trader or what).​

Spoon: Friend Impersonation During trade negotiations, the scammer will agree to the trade only if you briefly give the item(s) to a person of your choice on your friends list, who would then return them to you so you could make the trade. Once you trade away the item, a steam account impersonating you will try to get the item(s) from your friend. This form of impersonation is especially effective because your friend has no reason to be suspicious and is likely not aware of common scams, and so more likely to fall for the act. If someone asks you to trade an item to a friend and back for any reason, it's almost certainly a scam attempt.
