i tried to do a runescape trade with him since he was selling earbuds for 35mill rsgp. i had 35 rep on my profile while he only had 8 rep and he refused to go first. i told him no problem ill get a trusted middleman and pay all the middleman fees if any. he then wants to raise it to 45m rsgp if theres a middleman. this is an obivious attempt to scam me.

While this looks very much like a scam, and I believe it probably was a scam attempt, there's not enough solid evidence here to mark him as a scammer. I will archive this report and make notes, however.

Also, I cannot stress enough that you SHOULD NOT do trades between two different game currencies. There have been numerous scams regarding Runescape and TF2 items. Don't trade outside of Steam for anything- protect yourself.
