    They approached me on Discord, pretending to be an official moderator from Steam, threatening to block my steam account​

    Sorry you have zero acceptable evidence of any scam here - nothing thru discord is acceptable only steam chat screenshots.
    You were likely not even approached by this user as they are a Valve Employee and will NEVER EVER contact you over steam let alone Discord or another platform.
    NEVER.... therefore stands to reason you reported someone being impersonated.
    You are reporting a STEAM user not a Discord user.
