I know a person who claims to have found the exploit which allows items to be falsely added to trade. They demonstrated it to me a day before it started happening to everyone and said they created it. Jessie did not take my unusual but put it where he could and then told me about it. Jessie was the owner of tf2search.com where he was going to open a search engine much like blackeneds. I had no reason to believe he was a scammer before this happened but when it did he assured me he wouldn't let it get out and wouldn't use it for evil. He said he was speaking with valve and working out a deal on what they were going to pay him for finding the exploit. I did find out that jessie was close friends with a pretty well known shark named diz afterwards. Saved chatlog of the whole thing. Noticed today people reporting s✿✿✿ happening to them the same way jessie did to show it off to me. When I looked on my friends list he wasn't there but was able to track his profile id through google where I came across his ban on sourcebans for doing the same thing he did to me one day later and was able to get his steam32 and find his profile. His profile is private and changed name and url.

I will be contacting a friend who owns a server he used to play on and see if he can get me jessies ip too.

I can mirror it somewhere else if need be but dropbox has worked fine for past reports and my denied appeal to be downgraded to steamrep caution I sent in.

Just a little more info, before his account went private he is friends with the scammer who has been tagged for using the method.
