if he/you are on TF2outpost, you could track down the exact location of the gibus on the backpack.
    what i did was :
( in my case i confronted the guy with my stolen buds )
i asked him who sold him my buds ( you must first explain and declare whatever is yours and how you lost it )
i KINDLY asked him to send him his trade history ( note : not all players will do this. I was lucky enough to meet a new backpack.tf contributor )
he said he would do it.
you can use this to get information to show that the accused user did in fact own your gibus ( you can use the time found in your trade history of which you traded your item to the scammer and compare it to the time of which the scammer sold the unusual to. ) ( you need to screenshot this. from this, you can also tell how long he had your unusual. ) ((NOTE : I don't think trade history is that reliable to the mods/admins on any reputation site regarding steam, cause you can delete trade history.)) (EDIT : It may be reliable sorry, just found out you can't delete trade history.))(am still unsure, checking into this)

How you can access trade history:
    Go to your profile
    Go to inventory
Beside the button "Trade Offers", there is a "more" button.
    Click the "more" button.
    Click Inventory History.
    Wala! Your trade history :)

    Hope this helps :)

Sorry but the screenshot of the chat agreement is vital for this case.
