Accepted Report: 76561198019181299 (Impersonator)

So yesterday I had agreed to trade a guy my Brink for his keys. Everything seemed fine, but when we both tried to trade, the steam servers failed and didn't allow us to enter the trade chat. We tried several times with the same result, so at the end, I decided to send the game to a friend of mine (with a better internet connection) to see if he could trade the game. They couldn't do it and we agreed to trade today, when the steam servers got working again (my friend still had the game.)
So today, when I was offline, this guy impersonated me and talked to my friend. My friend's mistake was to tell him instantly that he was impersonating me, but we supposed that he was going to ask him to "give me back the game." He said it was a joke and we are all just friends (although we have never been friends, just traders.)
I can't say he's a scammer, because he didn't exactly try to do it, but he did impersonate me.

Thank you for posting in the proper format, and it appears that you are most likely right about his intentions. There is no other reason in my eye's he would be impersonating you and trading your friend.
