    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulant behavior
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198019416316 (khmsch)

    Victim profile: 76561198007196495

    What happened? Description:
This is potentially a hijacking attempt. I know these are not supposed to be reported on Steamrep but this is not your regular : add - "hi my friend wants to trade with you, phishing link" - remove. The accused added me , saying he made a SFM for my unusual, for free. As his profile is private, I asked a couple questions to which he answered without trouble.
Here's the thing : I could access the SFM only by clicking a fishy link, and he couldn't upload it on another site, nor change the .scr format, which is associated to screensavers but also to malwares.
The following chat will be more explicit.

My bad. As I the phishing attempt is out of the ordinary, and the user manifests a malicious intention, I thought this deserved to be reported. I misinterpreted the notice above (which I had read) as an excess of Steamrep reports against phishing bots. Considering the number of those bots, I can figure out how low-priority they would be. However, as in the day following my report, an user (I can link you to his profile if you need it) added me saying that the accused tried the same technique on him, and that seeing my report confirmed his suspicions, I thought that marking the accused was helpful.
Seeing that someone else's report against him, for the same motive, was archived, I now understand that this report is low-priority, whereas I thought is fell under the category "We reserve the right in egregious cases to mark users for such offenses and/or in the future decide to mark for such scam types again."
