What happened? Description:

Hello, I have added this person who claims to be selling bulk game keys that I could use to activate on steam and receive a games badge as a result of this. When contacting this person the conversation seemed fine and the person appeared to be helpful and straightforward. I am usually very careful when it comes to scammers but I will admit I fell for this person's scam. Now to start from the beginning, I added this person due to my friend previously using him in 2019 and said that he should be trustworthy. Obviously that was not the case and after discussing prices with Progress I sent him 21 TF2 keys in a trade offer. After sending the keys I was sent a pastebin with a bunch of game keys. Obviously I did not understand that I was scammed due to the nature of CD keys. All of the keys began to fail instantly and after going through 250 of them (took days due to cooldowns) I only was able to get 10 of them to work which did not count for the games badge as he promised. I thought that maybe he made a mistake so I attempted to contact him for two days but he remained offline. He then went online and just unfriended me on steam. I honestly was surprised and I have attempted to contact the person through their comment section but eventually he just began to delete the steam comments in order to hide his tracks in order to get more victims to fall for his scam. Obviously this type of scam is not that elaborate and I am surprised this person has gotten away with it for so long. The screenshots below will show some CD keys however, these keys are not working in any way so it does not matter. I have many keys which are not working and if needed I can send the entire list of the fake 500 game CD key list. Most of these keys were activated on different steam accounts. Please stop this person from scamming anyone else. Not sure if this point is relevant however, this person joined my discord server randomly said nothing and left.​

The evidence down shows the initial chat log as well as the trade offer sent to progress after we agreed to a deal. The keys I was sent however do not work and were already used.​

If you are using the program that activates them 50 by 50, stop using it. The github of the guy that developed it has been breached and once you put keys in, a different bot activates them on new accounts :S

Out of 100 only 11 keys worked and did not count as the badge. Rest I already own/failed (mostly failed)
cant even get enough for 50 games per hour since they keep failing
