    Scam Report

Report Type: [Accomplice] Alternate account of hijacker or scammer
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198021272428 ()

    Victim profile: 76561198095094350

    What happened? Description:
It started off the day as I was playing my game. One of my old friends added me back, so I added him and he sent me something. Me being dumb and trusting him, I clicked on what he sent and downloaded what he sent me, thinking it was just what he told me, pictures. Turns out it was a virus that soon got into my Steam Account and robbed me of everything, at least my really expensive stuff. I know I probably should have checked what it was and probably not have downloaded the stuff, and it is my fault. I don't expect to be rewarded with any of my stuff back (even if it would be nice), but I do want to try to expose this guy for what he is. I'm now on my alt, trying to pin him down, I just need your guys' help.

    Provide Evidence:
This is the friend that sent me a file, not knowing what exactly what it was:

In the comment section, you can see some others also fell for this guy's trap, so I'm not the only moron.

He seems to have changed my account password, along with my Gmail.
I quickly went to my second computer, realizing it was still logged into Outpost. So I quickly used it to my advantage to write down histories and the such.
History of my Peace Sign Tosslecap:

    Trade they were in:

I also see my Max Head has been stolen, along with a Bubbling Yellow Belt + 71 keys. Where its hard to track where the keys have gone, Here are the histories of the others
    Max Head:

    Bubbling Yellowbelt:

He seems to still have the belt, but the Max head has been either sold or put on an alt.

Other proofs such as trade dates, backpack value curves, proof that he has the items and so on.

I lost my account around late 3 ams- early 4 ams today.

Please Steam Community, I need your help, or at least to hear me out. This guy, who ever he is, has robbed me of a few years of work. Again, I don't think I'll be getting my stuff back, but the least you can do is shut him down. What you do with my other account is whatever, report it, whatever you think is necessary.

    Hello @Muttbutt~,

There has been some changes in the policy, and as such, your report will be archived, please read here: http://forums.steamrep.com/threads/notice-changes-to-investigation-policy.47952/

    What we don't research anymore:

CD Keys/Game Code/Wallet code scam reports
    Fakerep reports
    Phishing/hijacking account reports

You can, however, report the user directly to Valve using the Report Violation feature on the other user's profile. To do so:

    1. Visit the accused's profile
    2. Click More drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose Report Violation
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click Submit Report

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.

    Regardless, thanks for the report!
