So I just got scammed by a steamrep admin (NOT AN IMPERSONATOR). I went first after ensuring it was the correct account by following the link on his SOP rep thread. I see now that his steamrep is marked as being hijacked, but at the time I didn't feel it necessary to check the steamrep of someone in the steamrep admins group.

Thank god I only lost my burning sola. This guy pretty much has the perfect account to scam with.

Any word from Chaos regarding this? Why isn't his account back under his control? How does a steamrep admin even get hijacked in the first place?

His account was indeed hijacked. Filing a Steam support ticket might recover your items. Best of luck.

In my haste to report I forgot to remove my email from the code of the chat and now I can't edit. Could someone remove that for me?
