I requested that he goes first and he insisted that I did. Noticing that he had a bit of reputation on his steam page, I decided to just say whatever and give him it first. After waiting for an extensive period of time (without him replying at all) he abruptly removed me and made his profile private. Code: Never tell your password to anyone. He changed his profile link. It is now http://steamcommunity.com/id/flush20/, and it will probably keep changing.
Can you please post a screenshot of your trade history as well as a screenshot of your game licenses? Let me know if you need any help with this. Thank you!
There is clealry sad that there is no exsist of dota 2 keys, but sadly on russian on steam forums. here link: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2499357 And here translation: Gentlemen, One of the most common types of fraud in recent years, the proposal by exchanging key Dota 2, on a certain number of items or gifts. When I say key I mean a steam gift. Here is the inventory history, not sure how to get the other one.
Oh, why then you make trade? If you have gift, you should't have go first, just make as usually as you do you add he add and everything would be ok.
Also if that there was misunderstanding with key/gift like now and that guy just find him easy way to get free game, you can try also report on him on steam support migh not help much but since he didn't give you anything back you migh have more chance then usually. Just say them right, to make it sound more scam then your mistake.
I didn't trade for awhile and I just got back into it and saw he had a decent bit of rep on his page, so I assumed he was trust worthy (I expected too much out of the human race unfortunately.) I also didn't care too much if I lost a Dota gift as I got it randomly (I already have the game, two gifts appeared in my inventory) so that contributed to my carelessness. I did report him to steam support by the way.
