What happened? Description:

The accused was showing interest in my cs:go knife ingame and had added me as a friend to discuss buying my knife from me for money. He didn't want to do much more discussion on price so once I had suggested a value he sent me a trade offer with a forged SteamGuard message. A you can assume the message was telling me that if I agreed to the trade offer Steam would transfer the money to my wallet after the transaction. I tried to provide as much evidence as I could but seeing as this was an attempted scam there is no trade history to look back on.​

Unfortunately I was unable to get steam chat logs because he was very quick to unfriend and block me once I questioned him. It was Stupid of me to say anything.​

This was my first post and I was unfamiliar with the setup. If I did anything wrong please let me know - nicely - and I'll try to fix what I can.
