What happened? Description:

A person who has been on my friend list for a long time messaged me claiming that I needed to add a person (who appears to be trying to pretend to be a Valve employee) or get banned.​

Provide Evidence:

I'm not sure how this type of scam is meant to work - I guess I'm supposed to believe the person it wants you to add is actually a Valve employee.

I appreciate that there is little proof of wrong doing here - but I want people to be aware of this activity, and that these 2 accounts are involved in it.

Note: I have this user labeled with nickname 'buying all eternal rewards' which is why that name appears in the chat log rather than Scotch (you can see this in the screenshot of Scotch's profile I've attached.)
