Description:
When I first found out I was hacked, I managed to track down my unusuals to their current owners. Kay, at the time, owned my Logo Samureye and I contacted her because of this. I had hoped to find out whom she had bought the unusual from. As it turned out, she had bought my Logo Samureye for 1 bud from Alden, who is now marked as one of the laundering accounts of the hacker.

Early into Febuary 17th, I noticed something odd about two of the current owners. The owners were [aSHOT]RockVanek™ and Kay Faraday.

Tonight, I noticed RockVanek had sold the Magistrate's Mullet and Counterfeit Billycock he had acquired from Alden, who in turn had got them from my account. At first, I was simply curious what he sold them for so I checked his inventory and noticed something odd. He had received no new items but had traded away the Searing Mullet, Bubbling Counterfeit, and a Max head for nothing. He traded these items to [aShot] Nyancat. I presumed, at first, that these items had simply been traded to Nyancat to be brokered, after all, they are from the same clan.

Yet, while on Nyancat's page, I noticed something else. We shared a single friend in common. Considering my current account, the one I'm using until my hacked account is recovered, has less than ten people, I was curious who. It was Kay Faraday. Not only that, yet Kay Faraday had been friends with Nyancat since February 14th, 2012. The exact day I got hacked.

Both Nyancat and Kay had become friends on the day I had become hacked and both owned unusuals of mine which had been hacked. Obviously, I got curious. After pulling up both on SteamREP, I became all the more concerned. Kay had several marked scammers on her friends list. More worrying, Nyancat had a staggering twenty nine marked scammers. Including Alden, the person who likely hacked me.

So, of course, I messaged Kay simply enough and bantered for awhile before getting to the point. I asked her how she knew Nyancat. After all, it could of been mere coincidence, still. As it turned out, it was. She added Nyancat to bid upon a Ghost Stovepipe Nyan had put up for sell on the fourteenth. Yet, while talking to her, she admitted to something that forced me to look into her a bit more and actually create this thread. In her own words, she had scammed before within the past yet she had never hacked. Not only that, but she had been given a ban by Steam and her trading privileges suspended.

Her current account had full priviliges.


She admitted to scamming. She admitted to having prior Steam bans. She even linked me to her former ticket.


It is because of this, I now file this ticket. She has circumvented a Steam trading ban and has admitted to scamming within the past. People should be fully aware of this fact, so I've put this up for SteamREP to examine.
