    What happened? Description:
    I received a message from a friend of mine that he had accidentally reported me and needed me to talk to an admin to clear up the misunderstanding otherwise my account would be deleted. This was already fishy, but I played along, assuming my friend had been tricked, since I already knew he was a bit younger than me. He linked me to the scammer's profile and I friended him and waited for a message. We went through the song and dance, "there's something wrong with your items, I have to check them", and he took forever to send the messages which was pretty annoying. I called him out once he sent a trade offer of me giving a bunch of my items to an "Item Checker". After that, I tried to explain to my friend that it was a scam, but he didn't seem to believe me and kept insisting it was legit, which made me suspicious. I can only imagine he tried to trick me into thinking this was an actual admin. Either that, or his account has actually been compromised and this was in fact not him. Anyway, I'll put his profile block here. I wanna apologize beforehand if this report is sloppy, it's my first time doing this.

    My "friend" ended up unfriending me after this so I can only assume he was involved in the scam. Anyway, here's an image of the trade offer, which seems to be made by some fake item checker,

    @Pixellc You always report the user you were FIRST in contact with - NOT this user...you basically did this report backwards!
    No need to do anything different it will just be more time to review.
    DId you report all of the accounts to Valve yet? IF you did not do so asap!

    Damn, sorry about that, figures I would still mess something up. Anyway, I've already reported all 3 accounts, so I'm good on that front.

    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
