  1. Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198044501480

    Victim profile: 76561198124513061

    What happened? Description:
I traded him/her a scatter gun skin for 5 ref and then they tried to trade that for a key. It is one of the new skin items and I don't think this is an okay way of doing trades. Just because an item is new doesn't mean you jack-up the prices on them. My price was based off other offers I had received for the gun and I felt slightly enraged when seeing this outpost post.

    Provide Evidence:
Trade and proof of selling items. I even gave a fair option to reverse said trade and he just hid it. so even after being offered a redeeming chance to reverse it. I think this is odd considering that this is a person that is supposed represent a trading website. It seems they might want tighter security there. I'm sorry if this seems little soon considering these items where only added recently but I would like to put a stop before something starts and gets out of hand.

I'm sorry, but we don't enforce prices at SteamRep. If the accused traded the items as agreed, and you confirmed, then it's not a scam. In cases of buyer's remorse like this, it's at the accused's discretion whether they wish to trade back. Because the items were traded as agreed, there is no breach of trade agreement, and therefore no scam occurred. As such, I am archiving this report.
