This user agreed to trade Dangeresque, Too? glasses for 2 ref and gift wrap. He gave a run around story then unfriended without trading anything back. Here's the chat log. I don't expect to ever get anything back, but his account should at least be flagged as a trade scammer.

Where do I find that? This is the only page I could find and it says there is no trade history:

Oh! So sorry, it's actually a new feature. In Steam, open up your profile page.
On the right menu, click Inventory
On the right-hand side you will see (above Pending Gifts tab) View Inventory History
That will take you to your trade history.
