What happened? Description:

Someone asked me for the drodo and wanted to pay thru paypal. I said sure and looked into steamrep middlemen and he went and found the guy. At the time though I did not have my steam guard settings correct so we had to wait 7 days. 7 days later I go to trade hand over the item to the middleman and all communication stopped. Item is currently in his inventory.​

I have uploaded screenshots I took of the entire conversation with the middleman as well as a single picture with the account he used to initiate the trade.​

Can't help but notice this is still bending. Not sure if posting here will bump or what but here goes nothing.

The details you can see in the chat log but I'll post it here as well. I don't actually have many images here saved from this guy because I assumed at the time it was just an alt so I'm just gonna post his s✿✿✿ here instead of a new report

The item stolen was the Heroic Drodo the Druffin in his inventory (which he made private after I posted his report). I won it in 2012 I believe watchg a TongFu play. I don't remember the game or who they were against though. I'm 90% confident it was during group stages though.

Anyways I had the Drodo on the market for a little while at 230 which would come to 200 Canadian and Yossi (El Buen Gusto at the time) added me and asked if he could buy it but wanted to just send me the money on paypal. I talked to my friend who has used steam rep third party traders a few times and he said sure (although pointed out later that theres actual 0 reason to use paypal over steam considering paypal works just as easily on steam but I didn't know that cause I don't usually use my paypal for anything).

Anyways he told me his name was Juan. We bargained down the price a bit to 220 or something and he went and found a middle man (Maxximus Kane: the guy in my main report who has the courier at the time he hid his inventory). I checked the steamrep and even asked my friend if this middle man I could trust and my friend said to go for it cause he had never had any bad experiences so far. At the time though my trading situation was acting funny so we hadta wait 7 days for the mobile authentication to be good cause I was lazy and just never gone through with that process.

7 days pass and he hits me up. He brings in the same guy which was a bit of a red flag for me but I was excited to finally sell the Drodo I've had for 6 years and ignored it. He sent me the bullshit instructions (which you can read in the screenshots above) which I didn't know was a red flag either cause I'd never done this before. The instructions were basically I hand the courier, middle man holds, I receive money from Yossi, I confirm with middle man the money is where it should be, middle man hands it off, the end. Anyways I handed it over and both accounts removed me and blocked me immediately. No more messages from them after that point either.

As for the chat log it should be on my phone but he removed me as a friend and blocked me so I don't have any screens handy. If you know how I can get access to them that would be great. I can take a screenshot of the fact that I'm blocked by both of these accounts though if you'd like.

Also if I need to follow procedure on the first guy in a proper report I'll do that once I find a way to get access to the chat log. Cause as of right now I just got the one picture in my original post for proof which I can't imagine is enough?

It was $220 CAD which Yossi agreed on for the Heroic Drodo Courier that you can see in Maxximus Kane inventory in the pictures above. Although now that I think about it Yossi never clarified if it was CAD or not cause he never actually intended to pay but that was my assumption based on him agreeing to pay the amount I had listed for it on the market place (230 CAD at the time which I agreed to lower to 220).

Also I'd like to mention these two are still friends with one another on steam.
