What happened? Description:

Simple, I was buying TheShip copies for 1 refined.
This user adds me telling me he has a untradeable one,
I offer him .33 since it's untradeable.

He agrees, I go first, give him the rec,
He then tells me he can't gift it to me because I own the game.
Before I was able to tell him to gift it to a friend of mine,
He blocks me and runs off.

Note, this is not about the rec, i'm not a cheap bastard,
It's about the respect, if he doesn't learn that their are consequences for scamming he'll keep doing it until he is stopped.

Also, he set his profile to private.. all because of a reclaimed.. rlly? .____.​

hey add me, my brother was on my account last night and apparently he scammed you, just wanna ask what he took from ya and give it ya back cos i cant be bothered with bad rep because of him (my bro)

The OP stated the terms were a reclaimed for a fraudulent game copy. While he also stated it wasn't about the rec, you could probably work something out.

Also, if you are being serious about your brother using your account to do this, I would recommend NOT allowing him to use your account anymore. Change your credentials if necessary to keep him off your account (and possibly jeopardizing the standing of said account). Remember, your account is your responsibility; be careful who you trust with it!

As a said, it wasn't about the rec,

But he said his brother did it,
I hardly believe that, but, not going to take a risk on punishing the wrong person.

After you post this report, it is in the hands of mods/admins. They will decide the proper course of action.

Most likely this will just be archived due to mutual resolution, but the accused could receive a temporary Caution tag due to the attempt. However, that's for admins to decide.
