I would like to report an attempted scam.
This man was in a trade server and was wanting to know if I wanted to trade unusuals with him. He made a bad offer on my unusual and told him no. He then offered to pay pay me three keys to "help him out with something". This sounded very suspicious so started up my video capture software and recorded what he said. He said he had been scammed before and wanted to make a video for youtube "to prevent scamming". He wanted to pretend he was doing a scam on me and have me trade him one of my unusuals for 3 keys and then after the video was made he would give me back my unusual and I would keep the keys. I told him nice try and to enjoy the report to steamrep. I have attached screenshots from the recording to this and will link to the recording shared on my public dropbox files. I looked up his profile and he is already on trade probation from valve. Once I knew he already had the probation from valve I said in chat to watch out gaydolf and that he was trying to scam people. A few seconds later a guy said "Hey Gaydolf would you like to trade a crate for my Bills hat" gaydolf said no he wouldn't do that that wouldn't be a fair trade and he wasn't a scammer only a scammer would do that. The guy who offered him that definitly knew the price of the bills hat though because not 10 minutes before gaydolf traded me I had asked the guy if he would take 8 keys 2 ref for the bills hat and he said no he wanted 10 keys for it which I would not be willing to do. It was a fairly obvious attempt to cover up who gaydolf was from one of his friends who was in the server. I will put the information of the other guy below though I do not believe that should warrant a tag on Little Brother's account.

If he was really making such a video, why wouldn't he ask one of his friends to do it rather than a complete stranger on a trade server? Marking him now- thanks for the report.
