What happened? Description:

I bumped a few trades on outpost, and got a friend invite from him. He sent me this message then he deleted me from his friends list:
Looking for a New Name: Hi. My friend want to trade with you.

I reported him via Steam, but I am repeating this process here because this report will probably mark him as a scammer faster than Steam.
I did not trade anything with him, nor did I click the link. But somebody might not check first.​

he left me the same message. I clicked on the link and my antivirus detected it as malicious and block. I can not post the evidence now, I have to format my pc but I'll see if I can upload some evidence in the coming days.

I thought this could be considered a scam attempt. Phishing basically means hijacking personal information, right?
I'm sorry if this is not the case. Either way, I have reported him to steam as well, so hopefully they will take care of him.
