    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Misrepresenting virtual items
Virtual item type involved: [DOTA2] Dota2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198052315764

    Victim profile: 76561197983311223

    What happened? Description:
I had added this user in relation to the Karambit Tiger Tooth they were offering on CSGOLounge:
    http://csgolounge.com/trade?t=277257495 where they state:
Instead of CSGO items, they asked me to get a Corrupted Modestly Braided Beard from another user who had allegedly blocked them:
    http://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/570/Corrupted Modestly Braided Beard

    Accomplice:
    | steamname: Daniel [Dota 2 / CSGO Trading]
    | steam3ID: [U:1:121662809]
    | steamID32: STEAM_0:1:60831404
    | steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198081928537

The accomplice corroborated that they had blocked the accused user due to insults and were unwilling to reverse that, leaving me in the position of receiving the requested Dota item in return for a knife valued around $50-$100 ("shadow falcgion or gut").
Corrupted Dota items can be crafted very cheaply. I suggested to the accused to receive the karambit in return for a gut knife which the accomplice had asked for, but was only met with accusations of scamming. Had the accused user been sincere in their desire for the Dota item, this would not have been an issue.

TL;DR: Glim dropper scam. 76561198052315764 had the bait, 76561198081928537 posed as the person to buy the worthless glim from.

    Provide Evidence:
Screenshots of chat and market of the worthless dota item.
