    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198054615625

    Victim profile: 76561198293572106

    What happened? Description:
I wanted to get a Potassium Bonnett cosmetic from backpack.tf where I saw their offer that he was selling it for 12 keys. When I opened the send trade offer it looked all fine and the Potassium Bonnett seemed legit. Upon closer inspection, in their inventory on steam, I saw that the potassium bonnett said ( Loaner - Cannot be traded, marketed, crafted, or modified ). I knew this isn't possible - the fact that I can actually send them a trade offer for it and I did with a test item and they denied the trade.

I don't know if this is a glitch or a deliberate attempt at a scam - but the fact that is says ( Loaner - Cannot be traded, marketed, crafted, or modified ) as it cannot be traded it seems quite suspicious and might be a scam. But the fact that they even put an offer/ ad on backpack.tf saying that they are selling this 'loaned' item for 12 keys makes it very suspicious, knowing that only specific items from the Mannco store on tf2 can only be loaned (only weapons) and that it was tradable for some reason.

Don't accept 3rd party reports - and there is no evidence of any scam here - Just sending the user a trade offer and you adding a different item doesn't mean the user is scamming.
I can't tell if anything but that was happening based on the screenshots either.
