I met this scammer on Outpost, his scourceOP checked out fine. However I just realised his Rep page shows he's a malicious scammer.
It would be nice to get that $150 back though.

I'm slightly confused as to the nature of this report. Are you reporting that you mistakenly traded with a scammer or the fact that you were actually scammed via paypal?

If it is the latter, please provide a screenshot of either non-receipt of payment or the unauthorized claim as well as screenshots of trade history. If it is the former, then there isn't much that can be done.

It is the former. Is there any way I could contact Steam about retriving my item? Many of my friends have done this and I was wondering if it would be possible under these circumstances.

You were scammed by an impersonator, not by the real guy.

Report him to Steam Support that you got scammed by him.
Also, we look always at all angles on reports, so if its Trading With Scammers and been scammed at same time, its that.

Looking at this, I'd say the only relevant is "Been Scammed" by that guy. The "trading" (been scammed) unknowingly with/by a scammer we don't rub to ppl. We just hope that they wisen up to check next time their trading partners fully.
