What happened? Description:

Hello. I am an admin on a small trading community on Team Fortress 2, known as Shammy's Playground. TheFriendlySpy has been a common trader on there for a short while. Recently however, he scammed a friend of mine known as DerpyNewbey. He was trying to sell his Lime B.M.O.C. (Big Mann of Christmas) for some Paypal money. TheFriendlySpy told him that he would give around $100 for the item, if only he traded him right then and there. Derpy accepted and traded his B.M.O.C. (as well as a Festive Rocket Launcher), hoping to get his paypal money. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. He recently told me that he was scammed by him, so I checked out his profile to see if he had the B.M.O.C. in his possession (which he did). My friend DarkXone_Bob_Saget had recently traded him to get information out of him of his trade with Derpy and how he acquired it. TheFriendlySpy is already banned by MCT and SR, and has scammed on his alt account in the past as well. His alt account was banned by Valve, MCT and SR, and went on to make another account to continue scamming members of trading communities such as Derpy. Since I'm an admin of Shammy's Playground and a friend of his, he came to me for help. Other admins of the community are aware of this situation as well if further evidence is needed. I did some research, with the help of Derpy and DarkXone_Bob_Saget to attempt to get TheFriendlySpy trade banned. That's all the information on the situation that I have. Im aware of my Involvement and to go off of this. He seemed very suspicious dodging my question of how did he come across the item. After the image shown he demanded id give him a key and a Spooky crate and that after my trade went through he would trade me back and give me the B.M.O.C, of course I did not put this up as it was very obviously a possible scam and upon me questions why I'd need to trade my stuff first before hand he canceled the trade.

We do not review 3rd party reports and it seems you mixed a few things up in this report.

Please ask the victim to make his own report. The victim has to include pictures of the original chat showing the agreement, pictures of PayPal showing that he/she did not receive the payment (Log in to the PayPal account, then choose View all operations on my account) and pictures of the inventory history showing it in the Steam browser. Please include all history from the day of scam.
