    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198056793444

    Victim profile: 76561198370703651

    What happened? Description:
Left a comment on the accused profile advertising my item. Soon after I received a friend request from the accused. I checked their profile to insure it was not an impersonator. We began discussing offers in the steam chat on mobile. He said he wanted me to price the item, and sent a link to skinscape.com I followed the link as it was a safe link. Skinscape was having maintainance. After this he told me to deposit it on marketplace.tf I did so, I typed the Web address the marketplace correctly myself into my browser and sent a trade offer for my hat. I received an offer confirming from marketplace.tf bot (screenshot) . I confirmed a trade turned out this was an alt account. Rather concerned I checked my items on mp and sure enough my item wasn't there. I returned to the conversation and expressed my concern he replied that it was a new update and that mp needed two deposites which they would send as insurance. He persuades me to accept these trades (screenshot). The reason I did so is because I trusted him since he was such a famous trader with a good reputation. I returned to the conversation but he had unfriended me and blocked my account. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get any screenshot of our conversation before he blocked me the only screenshot are 2 after I confirmed the mp trade to the alt account.

    Provide Evidence:

Here show the offer from the bot as a "deposit" which I blindly accepted
