Description: After posting my hat on TF2Outpost the scammer, James, offered to buy my hat. I told him to choose a middleman from the approved list and instead he had a fake scammer add me to my friends list and attempted to use him to scam me out of the hat. He then denied knowing it was a fake middleman and presumably went offline and blocked me. Hope this is enough proof, I was not able to get any images of the friend request from the fake middleman nor a chat from him because there was none. After I steamrep'd him and realized he was a scammer, I deleted him right away.
