What happened? Description:

Pretended to be a coder and scammed friends and me by telling us he creates a CS:GO related site for us, deleted all after we gave him a 25% upfront payment. Later he even admitted the scam.​

First of all, I am sorry for the quality of one of the chats, I took it on my mobile to send it to my friend via a messanger app. And I also hope that it is okay that the chat logs are in German, I try to translate everything that is relevant but you can check again that I translate it right.

This guy we met via Reddit wanted to create a website for us and wanted to be paid in CS:GO skins. We agreed on a 400€ payment with the first 100€ being upfront.
After I sent him a 100€ skin (trade history screenshot + low quality image of chat log), he deleted all of us on Steam and other social media. First he said he worked on the site, but after about one week we could contact him any more because he deleted us all, but my friend met him on a gambling site on accident today and in the chat Cristal admitted that he scammed us by answering "your knife was pretty nice" (screenshot) when approached and called out for scamming us. He also says that he wanted to blanket the fact that we got scammed but then thought "it doesn't care" (and deleted us).​
