What happened? Description:

So, this guy added me and said he would be able to pay 125 for my Orbiting Fire Crone's Dome. I said that I already had another guy who wanted to buy it for 65 keys, and I said that if the guy who wanted to pay 65 keys were to back out, I would consider his offer instead. A bit later, he said that he can do 65-75 pure in keys. This was very odd, as I was only asking for 63 on tf2outpost. I realized I had seen his profile picture somewhere else on Steamrep before, I checked it out and I was right, and he had scammed someone before and he was also banned on tf2outpost. I asked him about it and he said that it was becausehe got in an argument with someone on paypal. He then asked me if I knew about the website "opskins" I didn't recognize it, so I told him that. He said that he wanted to check if my hat was marketable on opskins "since Opskins tends to have some errors on unusual selling lists." (That's his quote) He then gave me instructions on how we were going to perform the trade through opskins, he said that I really had to follow his instructions or else it wouldn't work. After inserting my hat on the site, I got a trade offer in which I would give the hat to a bot, with nothing in return, of course. The bot was called "[OPSKINS] Bot #0679" I searched up something along the lines of OPskins bots. I found a steam group that listed all of OPskins bots, where #0679 was included, however, all of OPskins bots have public profiles, while the one that offered me had a private profile. I told him I knew that the bot that sent me a trade offer wasn't a real one. I suspect that bot is a secondary account of his or perhaps a friend of his.
I declined the trade offer and he then removed me, so I didn't actually get scammed. I was however close to being scammed and I hope this person gets banned.​
