Description: Hyperx added me wanting to buy my buds. He originalyl wanted to buy at 32 but i asked for 33 and he said that was fine (slightly weird). As you can see in chat he immediatly asks to use a middleman and then directly after suggests his guy. they anter chat and I ask why both their profiles are private, then they leave. I can only assume they were going for a middleman scam.
You guys have helped me before with scammers, I didnt end up getting scammed but I want to help keep the community safe.

A little suspicious, but nothing to mark on. For all we know Hyperx just lost connection to Steam and Moondawg decided "Oh my friend left I guess I'll leave too."

yeah but that doesnt explain the privatebackpack, and the fact that he immediatly suggests a middleman and the second after says he has a guy on his friends list to do it, with a private bp also. this is an attempted fake middkeman scam if ive ever seen one.

The fact that he suggested a seemingly random account to MM for you is suspicious in itself. I also wonder why they defriended you. Hrm.....

yeah i see people get flagged for this a lot, how much more proof is needed to show they were going to fake middleman

It's not up to me, but this seems like an appropriate use of a Caution tag for both of them.
