    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198061885137 (FrozT)

    Victim profile: 76561198017019939

    What happened? Description:
One of my steam friends was helping me out trying to find me an ak-47 Case Hardened with a full blue top. He found one and linked me it to which i added FrozT for his minimal wear full blue top ak-47 Case Hardened to try and buy it off him. We then communicated and he ended up over pricing his item and acting like a jerk. I unfriended him and moved on. About 3 hours later he re adds me and asks if i added him earlier claiming that it was his brother on the account before and that his brother priced the item way too high. we then came to an agreement on what was equal to the value of the minimal wear ak-47 that he had earlier when i was talking with his 'brother'. We then went to trade I added the items he added his but this time he added a well worn one. I was in a competitive game of csgo and wanted to inspect it before i traded for it so i quickly left the game to go and inspect it. After noticing that they weren't the same I then explained that i wanted to inspect it before trading and that we should wait until the game ended. During this time I spoke to another friend that had also been interested in buying the item off of him and i asked him if his original ak-47 was minimal wear, to which he said it was. Then went back to speak with FrozT and he said that he never had a minimal wear ak-47 and that he only ever had a well worn one. I accused him of trading the minimal wear ak-47 to another account and trying to bait and switch scam me. He then said that his brother may have stolen it and I asked him for his brothers account to see if it was on there and he said that his brother didn't have an account. These skins are pretty distinct, he would have been able to remember what the quality was and even the skins didn't look the same. After that he then tried to sell me the well worn ak-47 skin. I then asked how his brother was able to steal it without an account to which he then said that he wasn't sure if his brother stole it. Then went to his brother to ask him what had happened. he then told me his brother traded the minimal wear one to his friend for the well worn one. After that he said that he would get it back from his brothers friend in the morning because he is sleeping. During this time he has been saying that I had to promise him to not report him for scamming

5 minutes later I then asked him to send me his brothers friends account so I could see it to which he said one sec, and went to ask his brother, and turns out his brother had fallen asleep. I then said that if he could get the minimal wear skin back tonight that i would trade him for it. he said he would call his friend and hope that he would wake up. Then he started to try and raise the price because the skins were different and the minimal wear one was better. 30 minutes passed and his friend had finally gotten online and that he had gotten it. 10 minutes passed and i had been checking his profile to see if he had gotten it back yet and i asked him about it and he said that his friend still wasn't on yet. I said that he told me that he was online and he said that "he got off". 5 minutes later it arrived in his inventory and made up another excuse as to why it took so long. He then again tried to make me pay more as this skin was different to the other one. We negotiated for a bit and finally came to a deal. I then decided that i didn't trust this guy's story enough to want to pay high for his weapon skin after he tried to rip me off. I then cancelled the trade and said that i was no longer interested and told him that i was reporting him for trying to bait and switch scam me.

I may have missed a few details. just ask in the comments if you need any answers. Also wasn't able to attach all the screenshots of the chat i have, can link them in the comments on imgur or gyazo if needed.

    Provide Evidence:
these are the screenshots of the chat, including the original trade agreement for what i thought was the minimal wear case hardened and includes pictures of his inventory of the well worn one, then another screenshot of his inventory with the minimal wear one and the well worn one but when he traded back with his friend he didnt trade the well worn one back to him

None of your pictures are in consecutive order. Please reupload pictures in order of chat or give us the order that they are supposed to be.
Admin do not have time to decipher the sequence of your evidence. Please present it in a manner that we can easily deal with.

I understand the concept of timestamp. But SteamRep admin do not have time to sit and decipher a cluttered mess. We have 1000 reports a month coming in. This takes time from someone else that need help.
