What happened? Description:

This fraudulent behavior relates to the paid "Mann Up" Mann vs. Machine mode in Team Fortress 2.

I joined a paid tour of Mann vs. Machine and encountered a user in the game going by the name "Jasper the Unfriendly Dog". The accused user is demanding payment in the form of Team Fortress 2 items from other players on the threat of sabotaging the game. Upon players of the game refusing to pay the scammer, the accused user actively sabotages the game by air-blasting bombs to the end of the map to force the loss of the game. The user employees an automated script to immediately rejoin the game if they are kicked from the match, which is mentioned automatically in the chat box any time a vote kick is started. This results in the game being at a permanent and unplayable standstill for all users until payment is made to the scammer. The user constantly insults users in the game chat box, and reminds them that it will end if they pay him as demanded. No users from our game session paid the scammer their demands.

I have captured this entire interaction with the accused scammer in a video capture, which I have uploaded as evidence. I started recording as soon as I realized that he was attempting to scam players for items. In addition to this, I will also upload screen captures of the most important evidence, with timestamps of when those items appear in the attached video.

The accused user's profile is full of comments from other Steam users who have been subject to this scam from the accused user, over 100 pages of user comments. The accused user themself openly talks about their scam in their own comments section, and has been doing so for quite some time. I have added a few screenshots of them as supplemental evidence.​
