    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulant behavior
Virtual item type involved: [Other] Other game items

    Accused profile: 76561198063088432

    Victim profile: 76561198043282507

    What happened? Description:
I met a player on World of Warcraft (posting in trade chat) willing to make a trade of a CSGO M9 Bayonet Boreal Forest (Field-Tested) for my gold value of 120k WoW currency. After adding him on Steam to verify it was his account I then handed over the 120k WoW gold in agreement for the knife. After the 120k gold was transferred he/she removed me from Steam and set my character on ignore in WoW.

While this isn't a Steam to Steam trade, this still is considered fraud for SteamRep as it involves one party offering Steam items as one end of the bargain. His comments section on his profile is simply a facade, which easily tricked me into believing he would hold up his end of the bargain.

    Provide Evidence:
I have a transcript of the conversation (screenshots), as well as the last image showing him ignore me after requesting him to submit a trade offer for me to receive the knife.

You will notice that the offline time-stamp in the steam client lines up with the moment I ask for the trade offer in WoW in the 2nd to last image (June 16, 2015, 8:39PM EST).

Contact WoW support. Valve support will do nothing.

I'm not expecting Valve to do anything, I only want this guy to be flagged for scamming so anyone who looks him up on SteamRep will not be tricked by him in the future. I have already contacted Blizzard Support and they have informed me they have dealt with him accordingly, but they would not elaborate on what exactly for privacy reasons.
